- Only undergraduate students from JHU are welcome to apply
- Requirements: Junior or Senior Standing, two Semesters of Spanish at the intermediate level, 3.0 Cumulative GPA
- Students have the option of studying in the Fall, Spring, or for a full academic year

HOUSING
- Students are placed individually with Spanish host families
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
- Field trips to Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial, Valle de los Caídos, Granada, Córdoba, and Santiago de Compostela. They are all included in fees.
- Cultural events (tapas dinners, theater, walking tour of Madrid de los Austrias) all included in fees.
- Volunteer opportunities with T-Oigo and Cruz Roja de Madrid
