ORGANIZATION
  • Only undergraduate students from JHU are welcome to apply
  • Requirements: Junior or Senior Standing, two Semesters of Spanish at the intermediate level, 3.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Students have the option of studying in the Fall, Spring, or for a full academic year

  • Courses taught in Spanish by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid faculty members
  • Students can take either courses from CEH program or regular courses under the supervision of the Resident Director and Academic Director

HOUSING
  • Students are placed individually with Spanish host families
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
  • Field trips to Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial, Valle de los Caídos, Granada, Córdoba, and Santiago de Compostela. They are all included in fees.
  • Cultural events (tapas dinners, theater, walking tour of Madrid de los Austrias) all included in fees.
  • Volunteer opportunities with T-Oigo and Cruz Roja de Madrid
